This repeat peformance of our SOLD OUT event in DC from the previous summer again featuring KATHLEEN CHALFANT, MARYANN PLUNKETT, and TAMARA TUNIE. Scenes were performed from the following historic American plays:

Trouble in Mind by Alice Childress
Plumes by Georgia Douglas Johnson
So Help Me God by Maureen Watkins
The Old Maid by Zoe Akins (adapted from the novel by Edith Wharton)
and, Harvey by Mary Chase

The events keynote was given by the remarkable playwright TINA HOWE. The audience was made of up mainly educators and academics. At this event History Matters/Back to the Future launched the One Play at a Time Initiative and The Judith Barlow Prize.
